2 Tamaraws top May 2026 CPALE

#NewsBites: Two Far Eastern University (FEU) Diliman students earned top spots in the May 2026 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE) results announced yesterday, June 2. 

Among the topnotchers include Heart Pecson, who secured sixth place with a 90.00-percent score, and Ernest John Manalo, who placed eighth with an 89.67-percent rating.

FEU Diliman posted an overall passing rate of 22.22 percent, with eight newly licensed public accountants out of 36 takers.

Meanwhile, FEU Manila produced 69 passers out of 205 examinees, yielding a 33.66-percent passing rate, slightly higher than the 32.88-percent rate recorded in the October 2025 CPALE results. 

Additionally, FEU Alabang produced five new CPAs, achieving a 100-percent passing rate.

Overall, the May 2026 CPALE recorded a 30.83-percent national passing rate, hailing 3,004 new CPAs out of 9,745 examinees. 

The licensure examination was conducted in multiple testing centers in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga from May 24 to 26.
