Achieving its highest rating since 2019, Far Eastern University (FEU) Manila recorded an improved passing rate of 32.68 percent with 67 passers out of 205 examinees in the May 2024 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants (LECPA) announced earlier today, June 1.

The University earned a 31.2 percent passing rate for first-timers and 35 percent for repeaters.

FEU Manila’s performance peaked last May 2019 with a passing rate of 45 percent, but later recorded less than 30 percent ratings in the following exams before this year’s LECPA.

Moreover, FEU Diliman obtained a 31.25 percent overall passing rate with five qualifiers out of 16 examinees.

The May 2024 LECPA posted a 30.28 percent national passing rate, producing 3,155 CPAs out of 10,421 exam takers.

The first out of two 2024 LECPAs took place last May 26 to 28 at testing centers nationwide, while the second licensure exam will be held on October 25 to 27 this year.
