After finishing as the second runners-up last year, the Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraw Paddlers improved their placement as the first runners-up of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 87 women’s table tennis tournament earlier today, November 26, at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City. FEU took down Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) Blue Eagles yesterday in the stepladder semifinals to face the undefeated University of Santo Tomas (UST) Lady Paddlers in the finals today. In match one of the showdown, the Morayta squad were able to keep up with the España-based team to force a deciding fifth game.
