
FEU women’s team bring home gold, individual awards in UAAP 86 chess

Far Eastern University (FEU) - Manila posted a passing rate of 29.63 percent, welcoming 64 passers out of the 216 examinees in the December 2024 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE) released today, December 17.
Out of the Tamaraw qualifiers, 25 out of 99 or 25.25-percent of the first-timers passed while 33.33 percent of the repeaters passed with 39 qualifiers out of 117 examinees.
Compared to the May 2024 CPALE result of 32.68 percent, the University's passing rate also inched out of the 30-percent bracket.
Additionally, FEU - Diliman recorded a 26.09-percent passing percentage with six passers over 23 examinees, while FEU - Institute of Technology’s lone examinee also passed.
The December 2024 CPALE recorded a 30.17-percent national passing percentage with 3,058 new CPAs over 10,136 takers.
This year’s second and last examination was conducted nationwide last December 6 to 8 after being moved from October 25 to 27 due to Tropical Storm Kristine.
