FEU misses final slot, to face NEU for bronze in COD:M tourney

Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF) was named as the country's top-performing school in March 2021 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday.
FEU-NRMF posted a passing rate of 91.76 percent with 167 passers out of 182 examinees, with three of its graduates dominated this year's top 10 passers.
Jermiah Dimapeles Lim led the batch of new doctors with a rating of 89.67 percent. Gabrielle Paul Soriano Pascual placed second with 88.75 percent, while Scorch Dominique Roldan notched the 10th spot with a score 86.17 percent.
Lim and Roldan also both earned their degrees in medical technology in FEU Manila campus last 2014.
Meanwhile, University of Santo Tomas ranked as second top-performing institution with 88.83 percent. De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute placed third with 80.00 percent.
In March and September 2020, PRC named FEU-NRMF as the "only top-performing school" in physician board exams, registering a 91.60 percent.
As per the commission, 1,234 out of 1,927 passed the PLE, translating to a national passing rate of 64.04 percent. The results were released three working days after the last day of examination.
