FEU makes final four return after revenge game against UST

Far Eastern University (FEU) made its first appearance in the 2024 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) University Asia Rankings alongside three other Philippine Universities released last November 8.
FEU ranked 701-750 out of 856 universities in the QS Asia Rankings.
The University did not secure a place in last year’s rankings, making its 2024 entry a notable achievement.
Furthermore, the University placed 11th out of the 16 Philippine schools included in the QS University Asia Rankings, alongside Mindanao State University.
The three other newcomers include the University of San Carlos, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and Mindanao State University.
FEU obtained the following scores in the respective criteria: 6.4 for academic reputation, 13.9 for employer reputation, 4.2 for faculty-student ratio, 1.1 for citation per paper, 1.1 for international research framework, 1.8 for papers per faculty, 1 for faculty staff with PhD, 3 for international students, 1.7 for international faculty, 3.4 for inbound exchange, and 21.5 for outbound exchange.
The top four Philippine universities remained identical to the previous year's rankings, which include the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, and the University of Santo Tomas.
The rest of the 16 schools that retained their spot in the rankings include Adamson University, Mapua University, Silliman University, Ateneo de Davao University, Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology, Saint Louis University, Lyceum of the Philippines University, and Xavier University.
The QS World University Rankings: Asia 2024 ranks 856 universities across Asia based on 11 indicators to determine the top universities in the region.
