FEU Accountancy valedictorian tops May 2025 LECPA

Garnering an 89.83-percent rating, Far Eastern University (FEU) - Manila class of 2024 Accountancy Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude Anna Cecilia Olgado secured the seventh place in the May 2025 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants (LECPA) released today, June 4. 

FEU Manila posted an overall passing rate of 32.72 percent after hailing 53 CPAs out of 162 examinees, demonstrating an improved performance from the previous 29.63-percent rate in the December 2024 LECPA.

This is also the University’s first produced topnotcher in more than a year since alumnus Christian James Millando finished 10th in the October 2023 LECPA.

Moreover, FEU Diliman gained an 11.11-percent overall performance rate with three passers out of 27 examinees, while FEU Alabang’s two exam takers both passed.  

Overall, the PRC recorded 3,156 passers out of 9,533 exam takers, translating to an improved 33.11-percent national passing rate compared to the previous 30.17-percent rate.

The first out of two Accountant Licensure Examinations this year was carried out in testing centers across the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga last May 25 to 27.
