Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws Physical Therapist Jacob Baltazar said that other members of the team have to deliver as Team Captain LJay Gonzales’ fate remains uncertain in their five remaining games in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 85 men’s basketball tourney.
“Ruled out si LJay ngayon, that's why we need others to step up... Nag-MRI siya yesterday [and] we are not yet sure pa if kailan siya babalik (LJay is ruled out now, that’s why we need others to step up… He had MRI yesterday [and] we are not yet sure of when he will come back),” Baltazar stated in an interview with FEU Advocate.
Gonzales acquired his injury during the heat of the second half in their last game against the De La Salle University Green Archers where they won by a narrow four-point lead, 57-53.
