Far Eastern University (FEU) Institute of Accounts, Business, and Finance (IABF) disproved a circulating post promoting an 'IABF Tour 2025' and denied its affiliation with the Institute or the University.

The fake event includes claims about an organization tour that promotes “a unique and immersive learning experience beyond the four walls of the classroom.”

It also details a tour fee of P2,000 with inclusions of round-trip transportation, meals, entrance fees, tour kits, and certificates of participation.

Moreover, the fake event was said to be tentatively scheduled on May 22 to 24, without a location and concrete itinerary.

The Institute, through the IABF - Business Administration Facebook page, called upon the students to not engage with the said post and its other similar instances.

"We urge our students and the wider community to exercise caution and DO NOT engage with this misleading post or any similar suspicious content,” it read.

Additionally, they warned students that such posts may solicit personal information or funds under false pretenses.

The Institute advises students to obtain official announcements, activities, and legitimate information from verified platforms such as FEU’s website and IABF’s official Facebook page.
