Far Eastern University (FEU) Tams FX (TFX) tripped over the De La Salle University (DLSU) Viridus Arcus as they failed to clinch a finals seat in the Alliance Games Season 3 Call of Duty: Mobile (COD:M) Group Stage Playoffs held earlier today, June 3, at the National University - Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

TFX Atlas struggled in the first stage at Hardpoint with La Salle’s countless attacks, 160-250.

During the Search and Destroy, Morayta-based rep TFX Jaymz Esperat (TFX Ynx) assisted the team with multiple frags to recover from loss, equalizing the match to 1-1.

The green-and-gold gunners stumbled quickly during the third round which left them scoreless as DLSU poured constant destroys and concrete defense mechanism, 1-2.

In a post-game interview with FEU Advocate, FEU’s Kharl Nushly Paras (TFX McFly) mentioned that the team will aim for a bolder comeback in the next semester.

“Since ngayon lang naman kami nakaabot ng semifinals and ‘yung mga kalaban talaga namin sobrang veteran na, since pro players din naman sila… ‘eh kami incoming team palang kami. So, expect na babawi kami next [semester] (Since we just reached the semifinals and our opponents are really veterans, since they are also pro players... we are an incoming team. So, expect us to recover next [semester]),” he stated.

TFX Atlas will participate in the battle for third against the New Era University PDG Odyssey today, June 4, at the same venue.
