Far Eastern University (FEU) alumnus placed fifth among the 10 topmost passers of June 2019 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE), released by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on July 4.

With a rating of 83.30%, fifth placer Miko Angelo Balverde shared that he “didn’t expect” the spot due to exam’s difficulty but had come prepared because of his principles.

Panginoon, pamilya, pangarap, pagsisikap at paniniwala–those are my 5 P's to success. 6 months of reviewing is no joke. There are a lot of things you have to sacrifice. But any sacrifices reap good fruits. I won't be able to make it if I didn't hang on to my 5 P's”, he stated.

He then added, “The journey is hard, but focus on the goal, not on the obstacles”.

Meanwhile, FEU-Manila got an overall performance rate of 64.47%, with 127 passers out of 197 examinees. Among the passers, 100 are first-timers and 27 are repeaters.

Moreover, the University’s performance rate improves from 47.97% last January 2019 and 55.96% in June 2018.

According to PRC, June 2019 board exam for architects garnered a rating of 66.33%, with 2,104 out of 3,172 passers and it generated the highest rate since 2014.
