After two seasons and four conferences in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), former Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraw Jovelyn Fernandez parted ways with Cignal HD Spikers and committed to Nxled Chameleons.

The opposite spiker's transfer was announced through a Facebook post earlier today, May 1.

Fernandez first started her professional volleyball stint with the HD Spikers in the PVL 2023 Invitational Conference.

In her most recent run in the 2024-2025 All-Filipino Conference, the former Lady Tam tallied 38 points overall after her team finished 9th place overall.

Despite her limited playing time with Cignal, Fernandez previously bagged the University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season 85 Best Opposite Spiker award after FEU finished fifth in the eliminations round.

FEU volleyball program head Dzi Gervacio was also recently revealed as Nxled's new team manager while Lady Tamaraws head coach Tina Salak is one of the assistant coaches of the team.

Along with her transfer to the new team is her reunion with fellow former FEU volleybelle Lycha Ebon for the 2025 PVL Season.
