Send-Off 2025 to push through Crising, habagat

Despite the inclement weather brought by the combined effects of #CrisingPH and habagat, Far Eastern University (FEU) classesand the 2025 Send-Off Celebration will proceed as scheduled today, July 18.

Earlier this morning, the Manila City Government confirmed that they do not see any basis to suspend classes due to a thin rainfall forecast by DOST-PAGASA and the Manila DRRM Office.

At 11 p.m. last night, PAGASA has also issued a yellow rainfall forecast for Metro Manila until Sunday, July 20.As of 2 a.m., Crising has intensified into a tropical storm as it approaches Northern Luzon.

Meanwhile, the local government unit of Makati or FEU Makati has yet to announce its shift in learning modalities.Other activities for graduands, such as the Thanksgiving Mass and giving of souvenirs, will also take place today.

Several nearby cities in Metro Manila including Mandaluyong, San Juan, and Pasay have suspended classes. Neighboring institutions such as De La Salle University and University of the East also announced shifts in their learning modalities.
