The Supreme Court (SC) fielded three Far Eastern University (FEU) Institute of Law graduates as judges for their respective Regional Trial Courts (RTC) last March 25.

Graduating Class of 2004-2005 Valedictorian Judge Marita Iris Laqui-Genio will preside over RTC Branch 111, Pasay City.

Another valedictorian, Judge Marie Joyce Pacoma Manongsong from the Graduating Class of 2009-2010 was appointed in RTC Branch 152, Pasig City.

Judge Benedict Rafanan Pichay III from the Graduating Class of 2009-2010 will serve in RTC Branch 210, Mandaluyong City.

Additionally, the three Tamaraws are part of the 111 new judges the SC declared to serve in courts across the Philippines.

The SC expects the mass appointment to help speed up case resolutions and decongest court dockets.
