Representatives from Isanliyab Servant Leaders’ Union (ISLU) fielded all of the Institute of Health Sciences and Nursing (IHSN) Student Council (SC) posts at the FEU Elections 2026 proclamation of winners last May 7.
Running unopposed, former IHSN SC Treasurer and Kadiwa Student Coalition (KSC) representative, now under the banner of ISLU, Chloe Yvanna Gagan, was proclaimed as the institute president garnering 1,611 votes with 830 abstains.
Named as vice president is Kairos Christian Codie Sta. Catalina who garnered 1,241 votes in total.
Meanwhile, Allysa Cheska Tobias won as secretary after a close call against Janelle Nuñez under Tanglawtala, receiving a total of 972 and 940 votes, respectively.
Niesha Bionat was proclaimed treasurer with 1,074 votes despite receiving 1,267 abstains.
With 985 votes, Saskia Denise Ocampo under the same slate successfully filled the auditor seat, while Tanglawtala’s Dhessamae Dimple Ganal’s 795 votes failed to win the spot.
Moreover, Niel John Rae Abelada is set to fill the press relations officer (P.R.O) position for this upcoming academic year with 995 votes over Tanglawtala’s Krizyrelle Conde with 821 votes.
Tanglawtala sent out three representatives under the positions of secretary, auditor, and P.R.O, while there were no representatives from KSC for the institute elections.
Under the IHSN, Tanglawtala representatives were named as the new Medical Technology Society (MTSoc) student leaders with Juan Miguel Peralta named as vice president with 301 votes, Kate Arwen Garcia as secretary with 316 votes, and Donna Marie Verdillo with 305 votes.
All MTSoc candidates were unopposed; however, the remaining posts were left unfielded due to a lack of candidates.
Meanwhile, President-elect Angel Claire Orense will lead the Nursing Society (NurSoc) with 899 votes, followed by Vice President Lindsey Macadangdang with 789 votes, and Secretary Marcus Stephen Faustino with 715 votes.
Breaking the Tanglawtala NurSoc seat streak is ISLU Treasurer representative Gishia Feorliz Gonzales with 574 votes, while despite the tie between ISLU and Tanglawtala’s auditor representatives, neither was able to win over the 604 abstain votes. Kaycee Cueto was named as P.R.O. with 796 votes.
According to the data from the FEU Commission on Elections (COMELEC), the IHSN garnered a 40.3-percent voting turnout with a total of 2,492 voters who voted out of the 6,182 total students for this year’s elections.
