Far Eastern University Central Student Organization (FEUCSO), in collaboration with the Office of Student Involvement (formerly FEU Student Development), has crafted a new set of provisions for students’ use of The Huddle at the Education Building which took effect yesterday, June 30.
The Huddle's common area can be used by students from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during weekdays; extension beyond the mentioned time requires approval from respective facilitators.
Additionally, the use of The Huddle rooms are limited to accredited student organizations and must follow proper reservation procedures.
Marshals from FEUCSO and Institute Student Councils will now also monitor the space based on an assigned monthly schedule.
Moreover, bringing food is now allowed in The Huddle as long as they are in sealed and covered containers. However, sleeping in the area is still prohibited.
In previous years, the use of the space received criticism from Tamaraws for its unclear guidelines and policies.
Inaugurated last March 2022, The Huddle is a collaborative space that can be used by both students and student-leaders for University-related work.
