Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws secured double victories against De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Spikers and Adamson University (AdU) Soaring Falcons in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 86 beach volleyball tournaments last November 24, at the Sands SM By The Bay volleyball sand court in Pasay City.

JJ Javelona and Vincent Nadera made quick work of the Green Spikers, dominating with consistency and grit.

The beach volley duo played with supreme composure with minimal errors and exceptional back row defense.

Javelona's receptions were perfectly timed and calculated while Nadera managed to thread the needle in the perfect spots to propel their standing to 3-2 in their first match of this Friday two-game stand.

In their second game, Tamaraws stepped up once again from the romp after facing the Soaring Falcons with a two-set rally.

The Nadera-led duo made a fresh start from the game with maintaining the momentum in the FEU’s side, 21-09.

Javelona spiked out in the second set after raining numerous defensive blockings on the Soaring Falcons’ net, maintaining the lead until the end of the rally, 21-15.

The FEU Tamaraws clinched fourth place in the final four standings and will  begin their championship campaign on November 28 at the same venue.
