Fourth-year Far Eastern University (FEU) Nursing student Francine Gabrielle Tajanlangit was hailed Miss Elite Global 2025 during the pageant’s coronation night held at Goa, India last May 12.

Along with the crown, Tajanlangit was also awarded Best in National Costume and Best in Rampwalk.

In an online interview with FEU Advocate, Tajanlangit highlighted her advocacy for accessible healthcare as a Nursing student.

“My purpose of bringing my advocacy of healthcare accessibility to the international stage. As a nursing student, I am very passionate [about] this because I believe that a productive community starts with healthy individuals,” the beauty queen expressed.

As part of her advocacy, Tajanlangit took part in community services such as blood donation programs and healthcare initiatives during her earlier years in pageantry.

In 2023, she was named 2nd runner-up in Miss Manila 2023.

Moreover, the beauty queen expressed her gratitude in bringing home the crown despite having academic responsibilities during her preparations.

“I feel so blessed, especially after winning a back-to-back crown. All the preparations and sacrifices paid off. During the preparation season, I had to juggle school and pageant. My day would usually start with Q&A training, followed by pasarela then go [going] straight to clinical duties,” she shared.

The recently crowned Miss Elite Global 2025 also shared the importance of knowing one's priorities in balancing the tasks and managing one’s time wisely.

Additionally, Tajanlangit shared her goals for the pageant of involving the culture of the Philippines through pre-pageant preparations and dialogue exchange with her co-representatives.

“I wanted to make sure that we show the vibrancy and talents of Filipino designers from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao… It's truly an honor to be able to represent the Philippines and share the amazing culture and narrative we have,” she revealed.

The Philippines bagged back-to-back victories with Tajanlangit being crowned after Miss Elite Global 2024 Jean Tumang’s win.
