#NewsBites: Far Eastern University (FEU) students living in dorms near FEU seek ways to suffice their food supply amid the intense rainfall and flooding brought by the southwest monsoon and Super Typhoon Carina today, July 24.

Several posts in Facebook group One Piyu Group stated that they currently have little to no stock of food like noodles, canned goods, rice, and even water.

The students reiterated they are unable to leave as some of the water already reached their residences.

The flood in Espana Boulevard also reached over waist-level, making it non-passable by motorists.

Moreover, the Metro Manila Council declared the National Capital Region under a state of calamity.

Besides Metro Manila, PAGASA also raised the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Rizal under Red Warning Level.

Manila emergency landlines are available at 927-13-35 or 978-53-12 while 527-21-61 or 527-35-95 for Red Cross.
