FEU alumna among 50 participants in nurse fellowship program

Far Eastern University (FEU) has moved up in the 2025 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings placing within the No. 681-700 brackets out of 984 universities across Asia yesterday, November 6.
This marks the University’s second consecutive year in the rankings with an improved standing, following its debut last year placing under No. 701-750 out of 856 universities.
Moreover, this year’s rankings placed FEU at No. 118 among 196 Southeast Asian universities.
The QS Asia rankings assess universities across 11 indicators, where FEU’s academic reputation score rose to 14.5 from 6.4 in 2024 while its employer reputation increased to 34.6 from 13.9.
The University also posted scores of 5.3 for international faculty, 10.4 for outbound exchange, and 2.5 for papers per faculty.
Additional scores include 2.2 for inbound exchange, 2.4 for international students, 2 for citations per paper, 5.5 for faculty-student ratio, 4.1 for international research network, and 1.1 for staff with PhDs.
FEU’s performance placed it among 25 Philippine universities included in the rankings, with other schools such as the University of the Philippines (No. 86), Ateneo de Manila University (No. 142), De La Salle University (No. 163), and the University of Santo Tomas (No. 181) maintaining their spot from last year’s rankings.
The 2025 QS Asia University Rankings is an annual evaluation of institutions across 25 higher education systems in Asia based on 11 key metrics.
