Two Far Eastern University Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF) alumni and one FEU Manila graduate secured top spots in the May 2025 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE), announced last May 14.
Gaining the highest rank among Tamaraw examinees, Niña Grace Jasmin from FEU-NRMF secured sixth place with an 88.8-percent score.
Meanwhile, both FEU-NRMF alumnus Arnel Bandahala Jr. and FEU Manila alumna Maxine Rose Agas placed 10th with an equal passing rate of 88 percent.
Moreover, FEU-NRMF was hailed fourth best performing school after garnering a 98-percent passing rate with 196 passers out of 200 examinees.
This also marks FEU-NRMF’s highest rank yet since finishing first place in the May 2022 PNLE. Until now, the medical institute has placed fifth in the May 2023 and 2024 PNLEs, while failing to secure a top spot in the November 2022, 2023, and 2024 PNLEs as they fielded less than 50 graduates.
On the other hand, FEU Manila produced 33 passers out of 36 exam takers, posting a 91.67-percent passing rate.
Furthermore, the overall national passing rate for the May 2025 PNLE stands at 64.39-percent, with 6,935 passers out of 10,770 examinees.
The first out of two nursing boards this year was held at various testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Ilocos Sur last May 5 and 6.
