Manila, Philippines — The FEU Film Society is proud to announce the grandest annual Valentine film screening in Thy Happy Halls. Piyu, I Love You: Love Outside the Box is an annual film screening event dedicated to celebrating the complexities and multifaceted nature of love. This event, to be held on February 7, 2025, at Far Eastern University (FEU), will present entries of original short films created by members of the organization, pushing the boundaries of conventional love narratives in Philippine cinema.

Love Outside the Box: A New Perspective on Love
Love Outside the Box is an innovative theme that challenges traditional depictions of love in film. Rather than adhering to stereotypical portrayals, the theme presents a refreshing approach to exploring affection, passion, and connection through wide array of short films. The films featured in this program break free from the usual tropes, offering an unfiltered and raw portrayal of love, embracing diverse expressions and perspectives.

The goal of the theme is to showcase the depth and complexity of love in its many forms, highlighting the unique voices of the filmmakers. The event hopes to spark conventions and invite the audience to reconsider love in ways that defy expectations and traditional narratives, particularly within the context of Filipino culture.
