#NewsBites: Far Eastern University (FEU) Department of Communication (DepComm) releases the 14 finalists of the 7th Edition of Likhang Mulat: FEU Film Movements Festival happening this December 9 and 10.
The first seven finalists are ‘Alingawngaw’ by BA7 Productions, ‘Salamisim’ by Tanawin Productions, ‘Manggagaway’ by Safety Shot Productions, ‘E Ku Mipalyaring Magluksa (Hindi ‘Ko Magawang Magluksa)’ by dead/cat, ‘artik.’ by Womenace Productions from FEU Cavite, ‘Andito Ka, Kasama’ by Palakool Kidz, and ‘Isang Pitik’ by Kulektib Productions.
Moreover, ‘Maya?’ by Alpas Productions, ‘Yawasap’ by Malamaya Pictures, ‘Tirada’ by Lente’t Liyab Productions, ‘Malaya, Madaya’ by Sansinukob Productions, ‘Hustisya sa Kamay ni Barbara’ by Banayad Film Productions, ‘Mami Peddie’ by Kapitulo Productions, and ‘Bloddie’ by Cineater were also named as finalists for the film festival.
The opening program will feature ‘Maria,’ a documentary by Sheryl Rose Andes, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, while the finalists’ film premiere and talkback sessions are scheduled from 1 to 7:30 p.m. at the Arts Building Theater Studio tomorrow, December 9.
Meanwhile, the Likhang Mulat Awards Night is set to be held at the University Conference Center on December 10.
The exclusive screening is open to the Tamaraw community on a first-come, first-served basis.
Likhang Mulat, now in its seventh year, is an annual social advocacy film festival led by DepComm featuring films created by second-year BA Communication students.
