ISLU slate wins, set to fill IABF SC positions next term

Far Eastern University (FEU) Isanliyab Servant Leaders’ Union (ISLU) slate won all the positions of the Institute of Accounts, Business, and Finance (IABF) Student Council (SC). 

Out of 4,211 voters from IABF, only 901 were able to cast their votes for this year’s election, resulting in a 21.4-percent voter turnout.

Last term, ISLU also filled all the seats of the council against a fully-opposing slate from Kadiwa Student Coalition (KSC). 

With a total of 507 votes, ISLU IABF SC President Ma. Phoebe Isabelle Nacar won against Elgar James Caharian from KSC. 

During this school year, Nacar served as the Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.) of the IABF SC.

Jade Ann Ilagan garnered 562 votes, securing the position as vice president over Mariah Alysa Parole of KSC.

Meanwhile, ISLU’s Tracy Nicole Dulay was voted by 482 IABF students as IABF SC Secretary over Charm Kirsten Aquino from KSC.

Furthermore, 482 voters elected Jairus Ferdinand Opao of ISLU, defeating KSC’s Feras Samir Gaaloul as new IABF SC Treasurer.

For the position of auditor, Keanna Jenah Mae Rojo from ISLU won a victory over Jan Marie Palileo of KSC with 540 votes.

ISLU’s McWryzyrn Bolesa will occupy the position of P.R.O. after gaining 545 votes, higher than Machelle Roniz Alday from KSC.
