Far Eastern University Institute of Education (FEU IE) has launched nine new graduate programs to be offered beginning August 2021.

FEU IE Dean Dr. Harold Culala stated that the addition of the new programs is "a testament for the continuation and improvement of the institute's legacy to quality education,” continuing its 90-year legacy of developing teachers, researchers, professors, and leaders.

Five among these are Master's degrees which offer specialized tracks in Education, Learning and Teaching, School Guidance and Counseling, Education in Educational Technology and Online Learning, and Education by Research.

From four specializations, the Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) further extends its curriculum to eight, offering majors in Early Childhood Education, Educational Assessment, Measurement, and Evaluation, Mathematics Education, and Science Education. This 33-unit thesis program advances the professionalism of educators and educational leaders.

Moreover, the MAEd in Educational Technology and Online Learning is a full online degree which focuses on the use of technology in teaching and learning while the MA in Learning and Teaching offers advanced disciplinary knowledge in English, Filipino, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, and Social Studies.

The Master of Arts in School Guidance and Counseling is also open for counselors who aim to acquire a professional license for practicing. This program provides advanced knowledge in guidance and counseling in educational institutions.

The institute also added new doctorate degrees which include the Doctor of Education (EdD) program and tracks of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education, Educational Linguistics, and Education by Research.

Further, the Doctor of Education program offers new specializations including majors in Pre-Service Teaching Experience (PSTE), Special Need Education (SNE), and Student-Centered Teaching and Learning (SCTL).

Moreover, the PhD in Education is designed for the advancement of disciplinary knowledge, providing a 39-unit dissertation program with specializations in Curriculum Studies, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, Research and Evaluation, Special Needs Education, and Science Education.

Meanwhile, MA and PhD in Education by Research both offer a 36-unit research program which delves into the theoretical, integrative, and practical significance of qualitative and quantitative research in different disciplines.

A Teacher Certificate Program is also open for graduates of non-education degrees who plan to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). The program shall provide the minimum units required to be licensed in teaching in compliance with the Republic Act 7836 (The LET Law). 50% of the program shall be delivered as lecture discussions while 50% involves classroom interaction.

Established in 1934, FEU IE commits itself to the development of its learners' growth and well-being, honing them to be locally and globally competitive.

In 2016, two of its programs―Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education― have been designated by the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) as Centers of Excellence.
