With the Far Eastern University (FEU) community once again making its presence felt in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 87 volleyball tournaments, the FEU TAMbayers lead the charge in rallying support for the Tamaraws. More than just spectators, this passionate group has become a driving force behind the Tamaraws’ motivation, creating an electrifying atmosphere in every match.

The group’s commitment extends beyond gameday, as they believe that fostering a strong and united community plays a crucial role in the green-and-gold team’s success. Open to both FEU students and passionate Tamaraw supporters, the FEU TAMbayers welcome anyone eager to uplift the teams and contribute to the ever-growing Tamaraw spirit.

“To the FEU community—this is our moment to stand together, stronger than ever. Our support doesn’t end when the game does; it continues in every heartbeat that bleeds green and gold,” Ramon Orolfo Jr., one of the group’s organizers, shared in an interview with FEU Advocate.

The FEU TAMbayers do not just show up to cheer; they build an environment that motivates the players and unites the community. Their presence in the stands serves as a constant reminder to the teams that they are never alone in their battles on the court.

To amplify the energy in the arena, they distribute free clappers and other fan materials to ensure every member of the crowd can actively participate in the cheers. Beyond the sea of green-and-gold, the group also takes the initiative to teach new supporters the team’s signature chants, working alongside the FEU Cheering Squad to ensure that every voice adds to the deafening roar of Tamaraw pride.

Last season, the FEU TAMbayers were instrumental in keeping the spirit alive, rallying behind the teams even during challenging stretches. That same energy is now being carried over to the current season, as both the men’s and women’s volleyball teams fight to make their mark.

For the green-and-gold supporters, preparation for the season was not merely about showing up on game day. Long before the first serve was made, the FEU TAMbayers were already at work—planning, strategizing, and ensuring that their presence would be felt throughout the season.

“We made sure to rally behind our team by showing unwavering support, spreading motivation, and keeping the Tamaraw spirit alive… Every chant, every post, every gathering was a step toward ensuring our team felt the love and encouragement they deserve,” he shared.

While the players put in countless hours of training, the TAMbayers make sure their sacrifices are known. The support group remains vocal in its appreciation for the team’s efforts, recognizing the challenges they face in every match.

As the FEU Tamaraws continue their campaigns, the TAMbayers’ cheers have become a resounding force, pushing the players to keep their momentum. The men’s squad, riding on an undefeated streak, draws energy from the passionate support, while the women’s team finds strength in the steadfast encouragement of their fans.

Whether the team wins or falls short, one thing is certain—the FEU TAMbayers will continue to be the heartbeat of the Tamaraws’ journey.

“To our dear Tamaraws, you inspire us with your hard work, and we stand behind you every step of the way. No matter the outcome, know that you are champions in our hearts. Keep fighting, keep believing, and never forget that the entire FEU community is here,” Orolfo said.

With the volleyball season in full swing, the FEU TAMbayers remain committed to backing the Morayta-based players in every match.

The next test for FEU comes this Sunday, March 2, as they take on Ateneo de Manila University at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Fans are encouraged to join the TAMbayers in the stands to show their support and keep the Tamaraw spirit alive.
