Moving forward to the next chapter of his career, Alec Stockton decided to forgo his final two years with the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws after he decided to enter the 2021 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Draft.

The Fil-Am guard announced Monday his farewell thru his official Instagram account, declaring that he is ready to take on the new path in his young career.

“There’s a new path for me to take and I carry with me all the learnings from everyone in FEU,” the 22-year-old wrote.

Charging for his dream, the six-foot-one Tamaraw already completed his PBA Rookie Draft application last January 25.

He dedicated the post to his FEU family and mentioned his gratitude towards the whole community.

“The school owners, president, [the] athletic department, coaches, teammates, management, teachers, utility, security guards and the support of the FEU community, I am forever grateful,” he stated.

Alec concluded his post with hope saying, “Looking forward to the next chapter in my journey. With God’s Grace, I am ready for the future.”

The vital lockdown defender for the Morayta-based squad averaged 5.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in only 16 minutes last season.

He was also part of the season 82 pool who entered the stepladder semi-finals that battled against the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers.

Stockton is now the second Tamaraw who announced his farewell to the collegiate league after skipper Kenneth Tuffin.
